In the fall of 2022, our friend Matt gathered several musicians together one night for a jam session. Several of us clicked, and decided to play again, and again, and again — usually beginning after the typical elementary schoolchild’s bedtime and playing late into the night.

Eventually, three of us were playing regularly, and we needed a goal. Petworth Porchfest 2023 was a couple of months away. Could we put together a reasonably coherent set? Could we source the speakers and sound board and microphone? Turned out the answer was yes, and we learned that we enjoy playing on porches as well as in living rooms.

Since then, we’ve played more shows, developed a bigger song list, began writing our own music. While we focus on bluegrass, we’ve also performed everything from Abba to Pearl Jam to Nine Inch Nails to the Jackson Five. Give us a song and we just might be able to blugrassify it.
